The Government’s ‘Export Hub’ is fully booked for its visit to Copeland on Thursday.
The Department of International Trade’s (DIT) roadshow has been organised by Copeland MP Trudy Harrison and will take place at Westlakes Science and Technology Park.
Local businesses were keen to sign up to the day, part of the Government’s ‘Exporting is GREAT’ campaign to encourage local businesses to take advantage of the global appetite for West Cumbria’s products, skills and expertise.
The hub will showcase live tender opportunities and offer expert advice to help businesses unlock their potential to sell around the world.
Mrs Harrison said: “We’re really looking forward to the day and have got expertise from the DiT, including a nuclear specialist; the Northern Powerhouse and Cumbria Chamber of Commerce speaking, answering questions and giving advice on the day.”
