Copeland MP Trudy Harrison has produced an eight-page magazine as part of her focus on tourism.
View from Copeland will be delivered to every household in the constituency in early August and focuses on plans to help boost tourism and what people can do to champion their communities.
As well as what Trudy is doing in the area, it also features many other people who are helping to showcase local communities and their views on further progress required.
Local attractions, transport, skills, regeneration, business visitors, wildlife, community work and our American links are some of the subjects highlighted in the magazine.
And it also looks at the potential for Cumbria and Copeland if a bid to become one of the Government’s Tourism Action Zones is successful.
Trudy said: “Everyone of us can have an impact on tourism across Copeland and West Cumbria. There is huge untapped potential here, from the undiscovered beauty of our coastlines to our market towns and numerous attractions on our doorsteps.
“A collaborative approach to tourism would bring great benefits to our area and I am hoping, along with tourism and community leaders across the area, that we are chosen as one of the five Tourism Action Zones, which would bring financial benefit and support.”
