Free government support for exporters in Copeland will be outlined to businesses to help them take advantage of international opportunities and to tap into the huge global demand for British products.
Trudy Harrison, MP for Copeland is working to help businesses in Copeland to start or grow international sales and showcase the Best of British goods by hosting the second session of the Parliamentary Export Programme on Friday 11th June from 11:00.
The webinar, titled ‘Expand your business: export to new, fast growing markets’ will focus on SMEs targeting fast growing markets, how businesses can take advantage of new trade agreements and removed trade barriers and how DIT and partners’ services can help businesses.
It will be held virtually on Friday 18th June at 11:00. The event is free to attend, and all businesses need to do to join is register at the following link: www.events.great.gov.uk/parliamentary-export-programme.

Whether your business is new to exporting, has exported in the past or is a current exporter, participating in the programme will equip your business with the support and tools needed to begin or continue your exporting journey.
These sessions will provide Copeland businesses an opportunity to hear speakers from the Department for International Trade, an experienced local exporter, and a bank, all detailing the support available for businesses to expand their business overseas.
